As I am getting closer to publishing my 400th story on the Medium platform, I am beginning to feel a great sense of accomplishment.
When I began sharing my perspectives about family engagement in education and within the family and community, I assumed that I would create occasional content to compliment my small business. I never considered that writing would dominate my efforts to ignite family engagement. I never thought that I would write full-time, either.
Now that I do, I am happy with the effort that I have and will continue to invest in becoming an expert in this critical area. Medium has had that possible. And I am thrilled to embrace my reality. I am an exceptional writer.
