The pandemic has caused many educational disruptions to prevail. While I am not a demographer nor a sociologist, I am a highly experienced educator. I am also a mom. These factors have enabled me to build my capacity to analyze circumstances related to students and learning as I forecast relevant outcomes. There is something very predictable about being a writer. It’s unpredictability.

No matter how much content that is in my heart to share with the world and not matter how committed I am to share the information consistent with my mission to ignite family engagement in education, sometimes I simply can’t. Sometimes the words needed to fill a story cannot be found anywhere. Sometimes the passion that I usually have to express my ideas dissipates like a beautiful fragrance in the wind. Sometimes the enthusiasm that I typical maintain for writing becomes as lost as a priceless buried treasure begging to be unearthed.

The learning process begins for your child long before their enrollment in school. As a parent, you are their child’s first teacher. Therefore, you must remain empowered to ensure that he or she remains engaged in learning activities from their earliest days of life and beyond. This also extends from the time you prepare your youngster for their formalized education at school.
Whether the school experience will begin for your child in the not too distant future or whether your child is already enrolled in school, you need to adhere to strategies that will result in a very positive learning experience for him or her. …
Donald Trump caused the insurrection. While he and those who committed the violence in Washington, DC are at fault, there is another group of individuals who fueled the frenzied rage among MAGA loyalist.
Some evangelical leaders have spread false rhetoric declaring that God told them that Trump would secure a second term. The reality is that God did not tell them that the president would retain his office. These leaders exploited their Christian faith and lied on the Lord.

These evangelical leaders need to be held accountable for their role in creating impassioned Trump followers. Perhaps the best consequence for them is for their tax-exempt status to be removed.
